The Role
We are looking for an experienced senior project manager who is looking to take the next step in their career as Head of Delivery. This role will include overseeing the performance of our delivery team, who are responsible for the successful implementation of Sage Intacct for our clients. You will lead a team of 10 people, made up of project managers, consultants and testers. The business has a proven and repeatable delivery methodology, but we strive to continuously optimise this process, with the aim of improving the final outcome for our customers. ION focusses on quality over margin, but utilises technology to optimise scale.
We need a Head of Delivery who wants to be part of our incredible journey, will become a key influencer within the business, and drive the performance of our delivery team forward.

Key Responsibilities
People - Ensure that each employee is enabled to perform, and is aligned to and focused on the company objectives.
Resourcing - To be the central point of communication between project managers, customer success and the delivery team, to optimise our resource and utilisation.
Processing and Systems - To work with the CEO and Head of Operations to develop, improve, and maintain delivery processes.
Performance - Track overall performance of the delivery team through the use of KPIs and OKRs.
Executive reporting - Provide information, guidance and demonstrate increased performance to the Executive Team, ensuring strategic objectives are being achieved.
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Experience of leading and managing a growing team
- Strong portfolio / program management skills
- Strong customer relationship and interpersonal skills
- Ability to control, positively influence and report on resource planning and utilisation
- Ability to systematically identify improvements and provide practical solutions.
- Think outside of standard project management practices. Better thinking.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Ability to clear communicate with senior management
- Provide board-level performance data
Desirable skills
- Experience of using Teamwork.com
- Experience working with finance or accounting technologies
- Experience working with educational organisations
- Evidence of continuous improvement of processes and systems in a previous role
