Cloud-based financial software specialists, ION, are proud to announce their new partnership with Severn Academies Educational Trust (SAET). The partnership will see ION to configure and implement SAET’s new financial management software, Sage Intacct for Education. This partnership marks a significant milestone for the Trust who will transition from PSF v6 to Sage Intacct for Education for advanced financial capabilities and streamlined processes.
Formed in 2016 and comprised of 8 schools, SAET is one of the first and longest-established Multi-Academy Trusts in Worcestershire. The Trust is a growing, forward-thinking organisation led by a collaborative Central Team committed to making a difference in young lives.
As an 8-school MAT previously using PSF v6 as their finance solution, Severn Academies Educational Trust were keen to make the switch to a true-cloud system that would automate and alleviate many of their admin-intensive tasks. The central finance team found themselves occupied by admin-heavy processes which consumed significant time and resources and prevented the team from maximising their potential. Additionally, the basic, non-automated reporting and dashboards limited the Trust’s visibility into their financial data and performance, and hindered efficiency.
The Trust’s decision to adopt Sage Intacct for Education was driven by the need to enhance operational efficiency and gain better financial insights. Sage Intacct for Education offers a suite of robust features designed to address these specific challenges. By automating routine administrative tasks, the system will free up valuable time for the finance team, allowing them to focus on strategic initiatives. The advanced reporting and dashboard capabilities of Sage Intacct will provide real-time visibility into the Trust’s financial performance and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
