Joined by the Salesforce team from the Dublin office, they explained to existing users and potential customers how they can effectively grow their businesses by finding, winning and keeping customers from managing each lead on their specific client journey. ION's Salesforce event at the BalticThe first presentation by Emmet Furlong of Salesforce, demonstrated the full end-to-end capabilities of the platform, from lead engagement and sales management, through to customer support solutions.In his presentation, Rob talked about the importance of working with a partner to enable business transformation and deliver the systemisation in all areas of business, using examples with some of ION’s clients in manufacturing, pharma, engineering and energy sectors.He explained: “Customer’s expectations for service are rising every day so being able to meet these new needs often means providing a type of personalised service that goes above and beyond what your competitors can deliver.Using a good CRM can typically increase productivity by 44% and can increase the speed of a deal closure by 38%, with an overall increase in sales revenue of around 37%.”ION’s technical director John Huggins also took to the rostrum to update guests on the latest updates for Summer 2017 software release. His presentation focussed on the huge productivity gains made by ongoing enhancements of the system.The final guest of the evening was Lynch Healthcare’s owner and CEO, David Lynch, taking guests through his own personal journey of using Salesforce and how it is proving hugely beneficial to his business model, helping increase margins by over 10% in the last 6 months.The evening was completed with some networking, refreshments and entertainment from local musicians Anna Reay and Deon Krishnan and ION would like to thank everyone who came along to the event.
